Delivery
Orders are drafted, checked and posted the same working day, by Royal Mail, in the service you choose. These are the dates an order placed today should arrive:

Working days are Monday to Friday, not counting bank holidays in England and Wales. Orders placed outside working hours are posted on the next working day.
Two worked examples
- The simplest order: an adult deed poll (£18.50) sent 2nd Class (£2.99) is £21.49.
- A typical order: an adult deed poll (£18.50), ten certified copies (£15), a board-backed envelope (£1.99) and Tracked delivery (£6.99) is £42.48.
Refunds and the guarantee
A deed poll is drafted to your details, so it is exempt from the 14-day cancellation right for personalised goods, but if a deed we drafted is refused by any UK organisation we take it up with them and refund you in full if it is still refused. How the guarantee works.
Questions people ask
How do I pay?
By debit or credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Klarna, through Stripe at the checkout. Confirmation comes by email; we do not send text messages.
Is there anything recurring?
No. One payment for the deed poll and whatever you add to it. No subscription, no renewal, nothing to cancel. If you are being charged monthly by someone for a deed poll, it is not us.
What is the board-backed envelope?
A stiff-backed envelope for {{costs.envelope}} that keeps the deed and any copies flat in the post. Optional.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Yes, by Royal Mail International for {{delivery.international.price}}, usually five to seven working days. GOV.UK says a permanent resident overseas cannot change their name by deed poll, so check changing your name if you live outside the UK first.
What is the cut-off for same-day dispatch?
Orders placed during working hours on a working day are drafted, checked and posted that day. Orders placed in the evening, at the weekend or on a bank holiday in England and Wales go on the next working day, and the dates above already allow for that.
