An unenrolled deed poll is a document you hold, and nobody else keeps a copy. SafeKeep changes that for ten years: we keep a secure record of your deed, so a replacement can be issued from it if yours is ever lost, at 25% off.

What it does

  • A secure record for 10 years. The details of your deed poll, including the date it was made, are kept so that a replacement can be drafted to match without you having to remember any of it.
  • 25% off reorders. A replacement deed poll or more certified copies, at a quarter off, for as long as the record is held.
  • Nothing recurring. One payment of £4.99 at the checkout. There is no renewal and nothing to cancel.

Why it exists

Replacements are the most common order we take, and almost every one is the same story: a house move, a clear-out, an organisation that kept the original. A replacement costs £18.50 and is drafted from what you can remember, which is fine when you remember the date and harder when you do not. SafeKeep means the record is ours to look up, and the reorder is cheaper.

How to use it

  1. Email us from the address you ordered with, quoting your order reference, and say whether you need a replacement or more copies.
  2. We check the record and confirm the details with you.
  3. We send the replacement or the copies at 25% off, posted the same working day.

What it is not

It is not enrolment and it does not put your name change on any public record. Your deed poll is exactly as valid without it. SafeKeep is only a safeguard against losing the paper, and it sits alongside the simpler safeguard of ordering certified copies and never posting the original.
